I actually found a good cupcake in Baton Rouge! Cupcake Couture. I made a special trip out to the dreaded mall in search of a good cupcake and I was not disappointed. By the time I got there I had few options but was lucky enough for one of those to be the signature "Banana's Foster", and if you are going to have a signature cupcake and it happens to be named after a beloved dessert then it better be good, and it was. The cake was moist without being heavy and the icing, well it was perfect. The icing described as vanilla butter cream had the tartness of cream cheese and was not overly sweet.
